Find out all you need to know about DNB ORTHO at Northern railway central hospital, Connaught place, Delhi.

Academic-

They have been planning for the past 1 yr, but still no classes yet.

However, you will get the chance to join classes from DOA. Stipend-

Rs. 1 lakh per month, you will get regularly

Hands on experience

Free hands in minor OT
Free hands in OPD, managing pts
You will get chances to scrub in almost all types of cases after 4-5 months.
Trauma cases are less but you will get chances to do plating, nailing from your 2nd year and bipolar by 3rd year.
Spine sx, Arthroscopy and joint replacement sx are frequently done here.

Accomodation-

Available but it will cost around 14,500 for a room (HRA amount)

Trauma and arthroplasty Patient load-

Decent Duty hours-

Long duty hours in the first year but not that hectic as trauma cases are less No emergency OT No of beds-

450 - 500 Seats-

1primary and 1 secondary May increase this year Hospital-

Neat and clean, at most prime location of delhi Consultants and seniors are helpful.
